Sports Cover Postmarks
As part of the countdown to the London 2012 Summer Olympic and Paralympic games, the Royal Mail in conjunction with the Royal mint issued a set of 30 covers which featured graphic representations of the 30 sports featured in the 30 stamps (3 sets of 10) released over 3 years in the build up to the games. Each cover featured a 50p coin with a special design on it's obverse. Each cover also had a specially designed postmark.In this section, you will find a selection of double dated covers featuring some of these 30 different postmarks.
